The months of May and July in the LVM Tērvete Reservoir have been full of surprises! The Mother Nature has given astonishing catches in the LVM Tērvete Reservoir. At the end of May, in the evening fishing from shore, a 12.46 kg heavy carp was caught in the reservoir. However, on 15 June at 3.30 at night a 15.3 kg carp was caught. The fight with a carp of such size went on for 20 minutes. Both carps were caught by Rihards Rugājs, an enthusiastic angler from Jelgava. Rihards did not keep the mighty catches, but after measurement he released them back into the reservoir. See, what impressive size carps live in the LVM Tērvete Reservoir!
