On 16 September, the LVM Pokaiņi Forest held the annual Knowledge Fair. The event gathered large number of visitors and interested persons from various countries, and also specialists and experts from more than 30 different fields. The weather was spectacular, summery warmth surrounded us and sunbeams spoiled us with light. The Pokaiņi Forest on this day was filled with particularly harmonic, calm and pleasant atmosphere.
The event took place in the valley of cult springs, near the large pyramid of Pokaiņi, in the fireplace room of Information Centre, and also in the square next to Information Centre, where a little fair with books, various handicraft goods, jewellery, cosmetics and many other things took place. Each visitor was able to participate in any of the activities, attend interesting lectures, try tasty food, and also consult and ask question to specialists and experts of Knowledge Fair. Visitors of the fair gladly enjoyed the meditation of mightily sonorous gongs and Tibetan singing bowls in the big Pyramid, and also a large crowd gathered to the Lithuanian specialists about the MA-URI massage technique. Astrology and numerology, as usually, attracted a lot of visitors. Heavenly sounds drew in to participate in the meditation of Latvian folksongs, many, with pleasure, joined singing with Inese Kozuliņa. Many visitors used the opportunity to participate in an excursion by hiking through the Pokaiņi Forest trails in an assistance of knowledgeable guides. At the end of event, participants of Knowledge Fair gathered in the Ziggurat, where the magical Fire Ritual of autumn solstice took place in a guidance of Māra Branta. The rich knowledge range on this day in Pokaiņi Forest has given an opportunity for each visitor to learn something new, experience new feelings, gain answers to their questions and many other things.
