Lai atzīmētu Latvijas valsts dzimšanas dienu, AS “Latvijas valsts meži” aicina novembrī NBS karavīrus, zemessargus, NATO dislocētos karavīrus un jaunsargus iepazīt populārāko valsts mežu tūrisma objektu Latvijā – Latvijas valsts mežu dabas parku Tērvetē, visa patriotu mēneša garumā dāvājot bezmaksas ieeju.
The celebrate the birthday of Latvia, the JSC “Latvijas valsts meži” in November invites soldiers of the Latvian National Armed Forces, the National Guard soldiers, deployed NATO troops and youth guards to get to know the most popular state’s forest tourist attraction in Latvia – the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete – and get a free entry pass throughout the entire patriotic month.
A special event for everyone who is interested will take place on the 11 November – the Lāčplēsis Day – when in the new dwarf town “Čiekure” the new Foresters’ district will be opened. Here, throughout the day, activities in honour of the Lāčplēsis Day will take place – making of partiot’s brooch, bow and arbalest shooting, trying out a cannon, forging a coin and other activities together with dwarfs and other inhabitants of the park. On this day in Tērvete everyone will be able to see also the collection of ancient jewellery and weapons, build wooden bridges and houses with their own hands, and also taste different goods.
With ID cards, during the whole November, the soldiers of the Latvian National Armed Forces, the National Guard soldiers, deployed NATO troops and youth guards together with families (mother, father and up to 5 children) will be able to relax in the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete with a free entry pass.
With a previous registration, in November preschool and primary school children groups will be able to engage also in environmental creative workshops – Mārtiņdiena adventure in the Dwarfs’ Cottage, the Latvia’s birthday celebration in forest or the pre-celebration of the wonderful Christmas. Whereas, the active families are welcome go into the trails that are filled with fairytales, celebrate family festival in fresh air by a bonfire, visit park’s events or to test endurance and agility in the rope-wood construction trails.
