What can be more precious and at the same time intangible than a time spent together with family, especially if it brings some new skills, knowledge or adventure?
To have more of these moments, the Jaunmokas Palace in 2018 will organise Family Days – on second Saturday of every month we will bring to light some of palace museum's offers and programmes allowing you to learn, taste and enjoy together.
The first Family Day already took place on the last weekend – 13 January, when visitors were able to visit the unique Sign Centre and to create their own special moment Sign, and also receive an explanation of it. However, from 10 AM until 4 PM at the Forest Museum together-time was spent in different activities – tasting herb teas that have been harvested in forest, getting to know the Forest Museum by playing games and doing riddles, learning about meadow, forest and bog animals in the exposition of museum.
