The Mother Nature of Latvia has already dressed her forests and fields in a wonderful colourfulness of autumn. During the time of harvest and ripeness, on September 15, the LVM Pokaiņi Forest held the annual autumn solstice event – the Knowledge Fair. As every year, the most different field experts gathered at the Information Centre and in the forest trails of Pokaiņi Forest, they shared their knowledge and skills, allowed to feel the effect of different therapies, consulted about things that are important and topical for us.  Each of visitors of event had a chance to discover the miraculous power of water, scent and colour, to identify the most suitable form of emotional harmonisation, to learn the energetic drawing, different types of gymnastics and other interesting and useful things. The powerful sounds of gongs and Tibetan bowls, and also other naturally resonating music instruments, led all gathered into a meditative sound journey. In the traditional Fire Ritual at the Ziggurat everyone was able to draw the rich power of autumn, the ritual was lead by members of community “Varabunga”. This was a wonderful opportunity for each of us to find something new, useful and spend a good time in a beautiful autumn weather, finding peace, improving health, feeling us as a part of nature.
