During the autumn school break, on October 22, 23, 24 and 26, the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete will have completely new activity – forest learning opportunity together with environmental specialists of Nature Park in Tērvete!

Park’s environmental education specialists in the mentioned workdays at 11 AM invite children to go on a two hour long educational hike through the pine forest that is full of knowledge and signs of nature. Meeting point is at the Information Centre of Nature Park in Tērvete. The rich network of trails, which weaves through the forest in the length of 35 km, promises diverse, active recreation with added value of education. After the active hike in nature a bonfire will be set up and a special herbal tea will be made. Participants of hike can bring something to grill on fire to regain strength after the hike.

For athletic families and friend groups in this season we offer several classic orienteering tracks, different difficulty levels and lengths – 2.6 km, 4.8 km and 6.4 km. Maps, control cards and information about the activity is available in the Information Centre. Relax in forest actively and venturously!

In the autumn season Tērvete Skyways of Lucky Land continues their work – rope and wooden constructions four to ten metres above ground. In November and December pre-school and primary school's 1st and 2nd grade school groups are offered to participate in creative environmental workshops together with the active Dwarf family – in Adventures of Mārtiņdiena at Dwarf Cottage, the Latvia’s birthday celebration in forest or in the enchanting Christmas pre-celebration. The Nature Park in Tērvete includes more than 1200 ha large pine forest land, the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete can be walked through 35 km long landscaped trails and in an area of 400 ha. Have inspirational and educational walks in nature!
