This is a true paradise for birdwatchers in Latvia. The Niedrāji-Pilka Swamp is a part of the Northern Vidzeme Biosphere Reserve, where rare bird species can be encountered. The lake with its pools and ponds can be observed from the viewing platform and also during a walk along a wooden footpath, while enjoying peace and quiet of the area.
