IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

Special piece in wood made by 146 thousand visitors of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

In the 11 months of this year, more than 146 thousand visitors to the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete have all pitched in to create a special piece in wood "The Hedgehog Family".

One of the park’s characters – the Dwarf Daddy – introduced visitors of the park with various woodworking tools and the correct usage of them. Everyone had a chance to try out tools and to take part in the creation of the “hedgehog coats” and the extraordinary forest “trail”.

The hands-on activities and stories about the multiple possibilities of the use of wood is the everyday of the Dwarf Daddy, but visitors of the park had an exclusive chance to work with ancient carpentry tools and timber. As it is well known, wood is the only natural material with a broad usage both in the interior decoration, and in the creation of interior and household objects.

In the 2014, more than 115 thousand visitors of the park pitched in to create a “Mammadaba” logo made on a wooden base with iron nails. Both of the special pieces can be seen at the workshop of the Dwarfs’ Cottage.

Thanks to all the active visitors of the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete who enthusiastically participated!
