IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

Forest Harvest Festival in LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

IMG 1410

On Saturday, 24 September, the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete invites everyone to notice and enjoy the period of autumn harvest by celebrating the Forest Harvest Festival. As it is known, rich harvest comes not only in our home gardens and fields, but also in forest. The Mammadaba territories are changing the colour of leaves, but nuts, cone seeds and healthy berries are ripening, as well as mushrooms.

The autumn festival from 12 noon will offer not only to look at nature's harvest but also to weigh and measure forest’s crop – wood. Everyone will have a chance to understand how quickly our Latvian “green gold” – forest – grows and how much oxygen it produces.

In the Playground from 2 PM – 3.30 PM the moves of street workout movement “Street warriors” will invite audience to participate by moving and breathing in deep the fresh air of autumn forest.

During the Forest Harvest Festival, the creative workshops will interchange with interesting activities and surprises in other parts of the thematic park – in Dwarfs’ Forest and in Fairytale Forest.

The LVM Nature Park in Tērvete wished you to see, enjoy and rejoice on the nature's richness in autumn!
