Relax in nature – autumnal LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

Autumn has come to the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete, it has coloured leaves of trees in yellow and red tones and has scattered the trails with golden leaves. On sunny days, the miraculous forest is sprinkled with sun’s dust, making everything so bright and shinning, that you want to squint your eyes instinctively until they get used to the carnival like performance in the Iršu Garden. The LVM Nature Park in Tērvete encourages to enjoy the autumnal nature!

Hurry up to whirl with the Forest Witch in the coloured Fairytale Forest before the summer season closing. Take a walk at the mysterious banks of Tērvete River, listen to the joyful murmur of its water and put some maple leaf boat in the stream – small, fragile, but filled with happy thoughts. Meet the Tom Thumb and Giant Lopear and, inspired by them, play in the Playground – conquer the wooden constructions and rope hurdles. Read the thick book of Nature by taking brave steps and following the signs of Mother Forest's trails.

In the Dwarfs’ Forest visit the hard-working Dwarf Family, they will not hold back advices and will share their dwarf knowledge. Look inside the tiny houses of Dwarf’s village and, if you get lucky, you will see the tiny, only six feet tall residents of the houses. Do not miss the new dwarf town “Čiekure”, where the recently opened Foresters’ District waits for young and old visitors.

School groups have an opportunity to combine an active recreation in the autumnal forest with an educational excursion or a hike with the environmental education experts of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete, thus, opening the pine forest’s knowledge door.
