Creative and educational time in LVM Nature Park in Tērvete
- Monday, 31 october 2016
When the end of year is coming closer, when streams of daily tourists are ceasing, the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete opens the doors of creative workshops. Then trails, covered in golden leaves caressed by rain or even by snow, are filled with little steps when pre-school age children and 1st and 2nd grade students are rushing to meet a miracle.
Each year creative, active and educational activities are organised in the framework of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete educational programme “Learning about forests”, where stories about forest are told, new skills and knowledge is acquired. This year will be no different, we will learn something new, create something new already in the beginning of November in the spirit of Mārtiņdiena at the Dwarfs’ Cottage, but from 11 November we will start preparing for the birthday celebration of our country, however, in December the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete will surrender to the Christmas spirit.
There are few places left for the following workshops (additional information by calling: +371 63726212, +371 28309394):
- Adventures of Mārtiņdiena at Dwarfs’ Cottage (1 – 11 November),
- Happy Birthday My Green Latvia! (14 – 27 November),
- Celebration of Winter Door’s Opening at Dwarfs’ Cottage (28 November – 2 December),
- Winter Fairytale at Dwarfs’ Cottage (5 – 9 December).
The forest which is filled with stories is showing some winter signs in its autumn gowns – morning frost is colouring the green grass, thick mist in the banks of Tērvete River and light snowflakes that are too fragile to reach the ground without melting.
During the winter season the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete offers to celebrate birthday or other important day at the Dwarfs’ Cottage with the polite, always smiling and loving Dwarf Mommy. More information by calling +371 63726212, +371 28309394.
