IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

Forest Days of Latvia in Kurbads Land at LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

See you in the “Forest Days of Latvia” on the 25 and 26 May at the newest part of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete – the Kurbads Land! Maybe you have heard the old tale about Kurbads – the son of a mare? Kurbads possessed supernatural strength and he was able to defeat devils and Dog Snouts to save the princess and to live in a diamond castle! In Latvian mythology he was battling with the Devil itself, to spread the good, the same as we, in our everyday life, are fighting for our rights to live in a green and prosperous Latvia!

With a forest in our heart – that is what the participants of the “Forest Days of Latvia” are doing by gathering in the Kurbads Land to celebrate forest as our green gold of Latvia! So that we could be proud of the Latvian forest also in the next 100 years! More than 100 participants, who organise more than 80 forest education stops and workshops, are participating in the “Forest Days of Latvia”! The map with stops of the event can be seen bellow, it can also be received in a printed version during the event in the Information tent. The organisers of the event have the right to adjust the map until the event itself.
