IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

Nature Park in Tērvete – best recreation place during school break

During school break the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete invites to discover the forest trails, climb the great Wooden View Tower, and walk through the ups and downs of Tērvete pine forest, its forest trails and the huge steps in the untypical, different relief of Zemgale.

Walk through the large Dwarf Forest! In the Dwarfs’ Cottage nature friends have been given an opportunity to build birdhouse with their own hands. Parts of 50 small bird birdhouses are waiting for their craftsmen. Use the opportunity and make your own birdhouse! But close by, surrounded by forest, discover the even bigger dwarf town Čiekure – colourful, bright houses, paved streets and miraculous inspiration! Town continues to grow and develop and gives a chance to look into houses of dwarf town.

The Nature Park in Tērvete includes more than 1200 ha large pine forest land with popular and less known scenic, exciting and soulful places. Here you can go on long and active walks, meet fairytale characters and participate in creative activities. But those who like something more solitary, a more personal recreation, are welcome to get lost in a fairytale – walk the quiet, secluded paths and find something yet undiscovered in the 35 km long and almost 400 ha large area.

However, on the next weekend, on Saturday, March 23, the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete starting from 12 noon will open its tourist season and will hold the first event that is a messenger for spring – “Hop, hop to Forest!”. We invite young and old, all nature friends to have an active and sporty time in forest. Entrance in the event with the park’s entrance tickets. Please note that photographs will be taken throughout the event.

See you in the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete that is rich with events, surprising and filed with stories!
