IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

Most popular event of year – spent in search for parking space

Already for the thirteenth year the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete held the most popular, surprising and the only night event in the Nature Park – The Mysteries of Walpurgis Night.

With each year the Fairytale Forest gathers even larger number of visitors. Last year, in tourist season 2018, all previous records were broken – event was visited by more than 9 thousand people! The big crowd of people was a rather big challenge to the existing infrastructure and personnel. The capacity of car park was filled, and on both sides of road Dobele-Bauska P103 were long lines of cars in the direction to Tērvete city centre, as well as, next to agricultural lands in the other direction to Kroņauce. Some visitors of the night event had to cover even more than 2 km distance to the entrance of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete.

This year, on April 30, the night event of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete was visited by almost 4 thousand fans of active recreation. This year also challenged the efficiency of park's infrastructure – the number of parking spaces does not conform to the demand, this was proved for the second year in a row not only in the event of Walpurgis Night, but also with the impressive number of participants in the trail run Stirnu Buks.

The programme of Walpurgis Night was interesting for people of different age and generations, from a joyful concert for the smallest ones in the Dwarfs’ Forest, to mysterious witch bonfires, illuminated buildings of Witch's Forest and video projections for youth and adults. Atis Ieviņš and band “The Rock Brothers” were performing in the forest entwined with mysteries, but a special light shimmered in the eyes of visitors during the fireworks. We are very happy to receive e-mails with positive comments, this is what Dairis wrote: “I’m so happy about yesterday's event, it was very, very good. I have been to many Walpurgis Nights. I can say that Atis Ieviņš fits in this event perfectly. For the second time we were able to dance our heart out to his music.”

The LVM Nature Park in Tērvete continues to take care of a qualitative process of events, invites to go into nature – search, find and learn!
