IT MEANS MOTHER NATURE.

AND IT’S TRUE.

What's new in the LVM Kalsnava Arboretum?

Freshness, brightness, loudness, brilliance, beauty, and, and so much more!

This period in the LVM Kalsnava Arboretum can be called as the humming festival, or as the yellow pollen dust time. As the time when to sharpen your senses – to feel, smell, hear, see!

This spring, as all of them, comes with a different magic. Everyone must adapt and seize everything that this moment is offering. We will tell and show a little bit of what can be “seized” at the moment in the LVM Kalsnava Arboretum... When entering the territory you will be greeted by a choir of croaking frogs, family of humming bees and chattering of birds that will guide you through the whole walk. Pay close attention to the coniferous trees, their new shoot are in surprising variety of colours and if you touch them it will surprise you even more. Wind breeze takes pollen into a flight and the whiffing air becomes yellow. The decorative apple trees have colourful gowns; also the fragrance whirlpool of lilacs is slowly overtaking the garden. In the cover of pines, rhododendrons are in bloom, but the peculiar scents of rowan tree blossom are also very inviting.

Each and every one of you will find a place in LVM Kalsnava Arboretum that will take your breath away. A place that will make you sigh and realise how wonderful and surprising nature is!
