Active year for Woodworking Workshop of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

The Woodworking Workshop of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete is working all year long, it is looking after the landscape and environment of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete by renovating not only wooden sculptures, but also benches, sections of stairs, bridges, surfaces of trails, stands, signs and other things that are less noticeable, but as important.

This year the Woodworking Workshop has renovated several popular sculptures of the park, including, inhabitants of Mother Forest trail – Bunny and Squirrel; has made new and replaced more than 70 direction signs; has improved and put up 4 new colourful illustrated information stands; has delighted visitors of picnic place with a new design – Picnic at the Snail's place; and also have improved many of the forest trail infrastructures. Craftsmen of Woodworking Workshop have not forgotten about clients of the Fairytale Train and have improved and renewed the design of Train stops.

But the biggest surprise of the LVM Nature Park in Tērvete now is the dwarf town “Čiekure”, where the Forester’s District has been completed and polished. Each little house of Forester’s District is furnished, and each active, hard-working heart, no matter big or small, will find a place to play. Nevertheless, town is continuing to grow and develop. A construction of infrastructure of new town houses has begun, and dwarf town “Čiekure” will continue to surprise us.

The works of Woodworking Workshop are also valued in other LVM recreation objects and tree nurseries, where renovation, reconstruction and complete rebuilding have been done. The film “Nameja gredzens” which is mentioned a lot in media, also has some connection with the Woodworking Workshop. The craftsmen of Woodworking Workshop have made benches, totem pillars and king's chair for the film.

The Woodworking Workshop of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete is actively following the infrastructure development of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete and always creates something new and surprising, is renovating and fixing the signs of popular trails and wooden sculptures.
