A popular place for many nature friends – Recreation and Tourism Centre “Ezernieki” – this year has received the Green Certificate, which is a special eco-label that affirms rational and environmentally friendly management.
The Recreation and Tourism Centre “Ezernieki” can be proud to have received this eco-label already since year 2011. We are happy that this year we also have received this certificate, because we make sure that families with children, people with mobility impairments, nature friends and active recreation admirers would feel good when they enjoy recreation in nature. Such certificate is a part of high standard costumer service culture, which includes nature friendly and sustainable management,” explains Egils Ozols, the director of “LVM Recreation and Hunting”.
The Recreation and Tourism Centre “Ezernieki” has a tent camp-site with lights, football, basketball and volleyball fields, and also swimming places. Admirers of active recreation can organise sports events and indulge in other activities in fresh air. But during the cold winter evenings – use the opportunity to get warm and enjoy sauna.
The LVM Recreation and Tourism Centre “Spāre” of Talsi district can also be proud with its Green Certificate. The certificate is valid for three years, and after a repeated evaluation it can be extended. Since October of year 2015, the patron of the Green Certificate in Latvia is the President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis.
