The winter season fishing possibilities for active winter recreation fans continues at the LVM Tērvete Reservoir. Up until now the luckiest fishermen are proud of pike, perch and roach catches that are impressive for the snowy season. Fishing licences can be bought at the reservoir guard at ticket house of Tērvete Reservoir. Licences must be bought before going on the ice of the reservoir. For more information call +371 26115333.
We invite trail and walk lovers to go for a walk to the dam of the reservoir and to the closest neighbourhood and to climb up the bird watching tower. In this season, as well, various birds can be seen, they are called sedentary birds, they have settled close to the reservoir in between a migration or for some other reason that is not characteristic to the season. On sunny, snowy days reservoir looks particularly picturesque and spectacular, but the landscape of reservoir becomes even magical on foggy, lull hours when the snowy surface of lake almost tangibly connects with the sky.
