LVM Nature Park in Tērvete gets ready for forest informative event – “Forest Days of Latvia”

The LVM Nature Park in Tērvete is getting ready for the largest forest informative event in Baltic States “Forest Days of Latvia”, which this year will take place on May 24 and 25 at the newest part of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete – at Kurbads Land.

On April 13, on Saturday, Tērvete citizens participated spreading out woodchips in the areas where “Forest Days of Latvia” will take place, these works were performed during the Big Spring Clean Up event. Both young and old took part in preparing part of the areas for the event.

Spring works in LVM Nature Park in Tērvete

Many citizens of Tērvete admit that they are participants of the Big Clean Up events almost every year, because clean environment gives gratification about the work done. Frequently, unfortunately, that is garbage that needs to be cleaned up, which has been thrown out in forest, Tērvete pine forest, meadows and riverbanks. But it has to be pointed out that the amount of garbage starts to decrease, maybe we start to become more mature, as well as the visitors of the Tērvete region.
