The LVM Tērvete Reservoir is proud with its excellent carp catches. Last season several 10 kg carps were caught. There have been also other gratifying and surprising catches – 1.09 m long and 8.200 kg heavy pike and 8.0 kg heavy catfish. The Mother Nature each year provides some excellent and unusual catch in the LVM Tērvete Reservoir, however carps are known as its main treasure. The first excellent catches of this season already have turned up!

On May 29 at 10 AM LVM Tērvete Reservoir has provided a huge catch – a 16 kg heavy carp has been caught. The lucky fisherman – Rihards Rugājs, an enthusiastic nature friend from Jelgava. The lucky fisherman admits that Tērvete Reservoir is an excellent place where to relax and indulge in his hobby – fishing. Rihards visits Tērvete Reservoir even three time a month, because this place does not stop to surprise with wonderful catches.
