Project’s “Garden Pearls” open door days in LVM Kalsnava Arboretum

During the open door days of project “Garden Pearls” taking place in August 2 to 4 use the opportunity to get to know different woody plants, that can be seen in the LVM Kalsnava Arboretum, in a guided walk.

Different plant collections can be seen in the territory of the Arboretum – Rhododendron Forest, Peony Garden, Lilac Garden, decorative apple trees, climbing plants, coniferous tree collection, Rowan tree collection, witch's broom collection, unusual rarities, other woody plants and herbs.

             Times of excursions:

Participation in excursions with the entry tickets. Guide service – free of charge. Excursions will be held in Latvian with an option to receive explanations in Russian and English. Duration of an excursion – 1 hour.

During the open door days, which will be held for two weekends on June 26-28 in Estonia, On August 2-4 in Latvia, More than 30 owners of Latvian and Estonian gardens and parks have joined together to introduce visitors with the diversity of parks and gardens. Guests will be greeted in tree nurseries, decorative gardens, collection gardens, historical manor parks and dendrological parks.
