On June 3 in the territory of Ķegums “Zelta zirgs” motocross track, the annual “Strong Run” event will take place, it is estimated that approximately 2500 people will participate. Part of the run's routes and tracks will be located in the forest territory of Ķegums suburb in the LVM Mid-Daugava region.

More and more people in Latvia get interested in sports activities. This year event will have such races: 5 km “Izlūki” (scout) run where all who are older than 13 years can take part, 10 km individual runs for women and men, and also team run, each team being formed of both men and women participants. The youngest participants will be able to participate in the “Little Strung Run”, where the hardest trail will reach the length of 2 km.

The run, as in previous years, will put physical obstacles in forefront of the track, but this time “Strong Run” will serve also as a meeting place for friends, relatives, family and colleagues.

Association “Notikumu aģentūra” advise to evaluate your abilities carefully when selecting the race, and also remind to think about comfortable and weather appropriate clothing.
