The beautiful Family Day event took place in the LVM Pokaiņi Forest. A lot of large and small families arrived to enjoy the unusually hot weather, to sharpen their mind, to do some creative activities and test their orienteering skills. All through the day visitors enjoyed the vigorous power and energy of Pokaiņi Forest, participated in different interesting, fun and educational activities for young and old. Yellow and green trail photo orienteering took place in the trails of Pokaiņi Forest. The smallest participants of the event participated in balance bicycle competition and in building of LEGO towers. In the meadow everyone was able to try out the blowing of big bubbles. The most unusual and beautiful art works in different techniques of painting and drawing were created on the large canvas. During the creative workshops visitors were able to learn also ornament weaving, complex collage creation and making of energetic mandalas. New talents, orator and creative skills revealed in the theatresport's lesson by solving mundane and creative situations that were hidden in deep fantasies, and playing it all out on the improvised stage. Here everyone could have a good laugh and also think about deeper and more serious things. After the activities everyone enjoyed the celebratory meal that was made on bonfire. This was one of the most beautiful, cheerful and brightest days in the LVM Pokaiņi Forest.
