The LVM Jaunmokas Palace

The Neo-Gothic style castle, initially intended as a hunting lodge, and its complex will be a fabulous place for families, individual travellers and groups, as well as a venue for events

About the LVM Jaunmokas Palace

The LVM Jaunmokas Palace is located in the picturesque hilly area of Kurzeme, on the side of the Riga-Ventspils highway, only 75 kilometres from Riga. It was built in 1901 according to the project of Wilhelm Bokslaff as a hunting lodge for the mayor of Riga George Armitstead.

The ensemble of the manor acquired its present-day appearance in a short period of time, with several owners changing, but preserving the concept of the architect Wilhelm Bockslaff – to create this farm and recreation complex as a synthesis of Gothic impressions of Hanseatic cities. The functional layout of the interior and the luxurious tiled stoves were made in the 19th and 20th centuries in the typical Art Nouveau style.
