The LVM Pokaiņi Forest has experienced the wonderful sounds of the annual open-air concert “Between Heaven and Earth”. As usual, on the second Saturday of July the Svētbirzīte was yet again gathering young and old participants of the event to enjoy the sonorous performance of Igo and Ēriks Upenieks. Surrounded by the beautiful birch grove, everyone could select their favourite place to settle for the concert. At the beginning of event, the sonorous voice of Igo in accompaniment of guitar sounds by Ēriks Upenieks warmed up people with some popular songs, and invited everyone to join singing and to move to the rhythms of music. The heartfelt singing of Igo did not leave a listener indifferent. People were singing along, swaying in the rhythm and clapping their hands. Concert also included compositions that have been composed this year by Igo and Ēruks Upenieks from the concert programme “Sapnis ceļā”, for example, compositions “Pāreošais krāstā”, “Rīt, visu rīt”, etc. After the concert's active part, the soulful meditative compositions by Ēriks Upenieks and his guitar sounds about forest, sun, trees and birds. The gathered were able to enjoy the undulation of emotionally creative energy in the light wind breeze and the rustling of Pokaiņi Forest trees. The emotionally meditative vibrations created by music and nature sounds could be felt even in the farthest corners of soul, creating a harmonic uniformity of the universe, nature and human spiritual world, and giving a wonderful feeling of peace. Igo and Ēriks gave Pokaiņi Forest and listeners wonderful feelings, soulfully rich emotional delight in an open-air concert.
