The new school year is very special and full of challenges, studying in nature, for the four greenest Latvian schools that are honoured with the Mammadaba Embassy name of school year 2019/2010: in Northern Kurzeme region – Lībagi Primary School, in Southern Kurzeme region – Kalnsēta Special Boarding-School, in Northern Latgale region – Vērēmi Elementary School, in Western Vidzeme region – Allaži Elementary School. This is already the tenth year when schools receive the title – Mammadaba Embassy.

In the previous school year schools were actively working by going on nature exploring walks and hikes, participating in clean-ups and in waste paper collecting competition, visited Mammadaba objects and were integrating environmental education comprehensively in everyday work of schools.

In the beginning of the new school year, libraries of schools received educational gifts – books and games about forest, forest values and environmental issues.

The schools that received embassy title will carry it for one school year.
