Several years have passed since Jaunmokas Palace Museum begun to create a new exposition with forest thematic. First stage of exposition was opened in year 2017, so it can’t actually be called new anymore, also visitors have expressed their thoughts about the diversity and interactive objects in it, about it being interesting both for children as for adults. In collaboration with creative association “BrandEleven”, this year we have reached the last – 4th stage. This stage has enrichened Forest Exposition with lichens’ stand, which allows getting to know the lichens in our park, vitrines that are dedicated to hunting thematic, that have been filled with the newest contributions, and development of content of hunting interactive screen. Now we have to wait for the end of the year, when thanks to the support of the State Culture Capital Foundation and the Forest Development Fund the reptile vitrine will be filled with 7 casts.

We are slowly forming a story about forest as an environment, which we have to learn to understand by observing and researching, so that we could fit in it not only as consumers, but also as observant and green nature friends. That is why the slogan of exposition is – Be observant! Be green! If you want to take, learn how to give!.  And see you in forest and in Jaunmokas!
