On May 1, the fishing season starts again in LVM (“Latvia's State Forests”) Tērvete reservoir. In anticipation of the new season, on April 28, fish resources were replenished in the reservoir - 800 kg of carp gills were collected in the reservoir. The average weight of the fish is 0.8 - 1 kg.
Licenses for fishing in Tērvete reservoir must be purchased electronically in the "ManaCope" app. During the purchase process, attention should be paid to the fishing date, time, and name of the water body. Information about restricted areas and fishing periods is conveniently available in the app. The license must be issued before starting fishing.

In 2022, 3309 anglers tested their luck in the reservoir. The most diverse catches are pike, carp, tench, perch, and roach. The biggest catches last year were – carp 14.0 kg, pike 11.0 kg, tench 1.5 kg, crucian carp 2.0 kg, perch 1.3 kg and bream 2.6 kg.
