As you plan your leisure time during the summer days, citizens are welcom to visit the well-maintained recreational areas and points of interest in the Latvian State Forests, which are freely accessible to everyone throughout the year. To make holiday routes even more exciting this summer, JSC "Latvian State Forests" (LVM) invites you to explore nature with the new outdoor game "Latvijas Meža dēkainis" ("Latvian Forest Adventurer").
The outdoor game "Latvijas Meža dēkainis" takes place at 35 points in the Latvian State Forests from July 1 to October 1.
To participate in the "Latvijas Meža dēkainis" game, you need to visit one of the listed recreational areas managed by LVM. Upon arrival at the destination, look for a blue sign attached to a tree and scan the QR code on it with your smartphone. Then, register for the game and correctly answer the given question. Searching for answers will allow you to learn new things about forestry, nature, and the history of the specific location.
To participate in the "Latvijas Meža dēkainis" game, participants need a fully charged smartphone with unlimited internet access. GPS (location services) must be enabled on the phone.
