The LVM Nature Park in Tērvete invites to get to know environmental stories “On a Green Branch”, combining walks in thematic parts of the park with sonorous songs, dances and theatre game. Saturday, August 24, will be a joyful day in the forest of great pines!

At 1 PM on the open-air stage in the Playground all visitors of the park will be entertained by a fun and educational play “Dwarf in Forest”. Children and youth centre “ALTONA” – students of theatre studio and teacher, director Reinis Vējiņš – take part in the play.

From 12 noon until 2 PM at the dwarf town “Čiekure” we will dance, sing and play together with the fun characters of Pasaku nams. We will get to know the power of friendship and we will learn to be together no matter how different we are.

However, at the Dwarfs’ Cottage at 1 PM a musical moment together with guitarist Reinis Young. Different, energetic and storytelling guitar play.

Here meet also the warm, hard working and active Dwarf family, work in the woodworking workshop and visit Dwarfery. Learn about the rhythm of nature and forest secrets together with dwarfs!

This Saturday dwarfs will have a special guest: from 12 until 3 PM artist Aija Prince Galzone will invite the creative visitors of the park to create a painting together – a painting of hazel grouse (Bonasa bonasia), bird of the year 2019 in Latvia. Here will be a place for interesting discussions about art, nature and how we perceive the world around us.

Also, in the Fairytale Forest on Saturday, last time this summer, will be a chance to meet all the loved fairytale characters – Princess Zeltīte, inhabitants of the Stingy's hut and Forest Witch. Special tasks and activities will take place here. Then, for the last time together we meet in event on October 12 – The Lulling of the Fairytale – when Fairytale and friends will meet in forest!
