The winner team of the bird watching race "Latvia's State Forest Bird Rally 2015" September 19 to September 20 2015 is „Estbirding” (Uku Paal, Peeter Raudsepp, Margus Ots, Mihkel Metslaid, Raul Vilk), which has recorded 132 bird species during the race. Six teams of experienced bird watchers and ornithologists from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania took part in the race. All together there were recorded 165 bird species by all teams during the race. As well the team „TTTŠ” (Uģis Piterāns, Andris Avotiņš, Gaidis Grandāns, Edgars Laucis) got the special prize for the most interesting observation – Mediterranean Gull (Ichthyaetus melanocephalus).
